What is skin needling/micro-needling?

How does the Hydra Pen work?

The Hydra Pen uses a single-use needle cartridge that consists of 12 needles that vibrate at a rapid rate to cause micro-perforations to the skins epidermis. These micro-injuries form micro-channels within the skins surface in which serum stored in the needle cartridge is then directly deposited into. This unique mechanism of the Hydra Pen aids drastically in the skin’s absorption of the products applied but it also helps stimulate collagen and elastin production which in turn repairs many of your skin concerns scarlessly.

What should I expect post treatment?

You may experience tiny blood spots, redness and a sunburnt-like sensation for 24 to 48 hours post treatment.

It is also normal for your skin to peel or feel dry for a week post treatment depending on the needle depth used.
